Jose Moore

Having an extensive background in Athletics and Fitness training, Jose has been involved in the Health and Fitness Industry for seventeen years. He was a four sport letterman and All-District performer in high school football, basketball, baseball, and track & field as well as a "All Golden Triangle" (Beaumont, Southeast Texas area) and "All Greater Houston" selection in football. At the Collegiate level, Jose was a catcher and an outfielder on the baseball squad as well as an All-Conference 200 and 400 meter sprinter on the track & Field team. While in college, Jose competed against some of the world's fastest humans such as Carl Lewis (nine Olympic Gold Medals) and Darrel Green (NFL's fastest man twelve years running) in track and field, as well as in baseball facing future major league greats such as Roger Clemens (Boston Red Sox/New York Yankees), Greg Swindell (Cleveland Indians/Houston Astros), Calvin Schiralde (Boston Red Sox), Chris James (Philadelphia Phillies/Houston Astros), and Spike Owens (Toronto Blue Jays). In high school Jose competed against hall of famer and NFL great Eric Dickerson, Texas Football legend, Craig James, and Dallas Cowboy All Pro Linebacker Eugene Lockhart.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Blinn College, Bachelor of Arts in teaching from Sam Houston State University and a Masters Degree of Science from the University of South Alabama in Physiology of Exercise. He is certified as a Personal Trainer and Health & Fitness Instructor by the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA). Jose was a successful High School coach for seven years and collegiate Track & Field coach for four years at the University of South Alabama, McNeese St. University, and Purdue University working with both the men and women programs. He coached several all Americans and on the Junior Olympic Track & Field club level he coached several National Champions. He has worked at Q The Sports Club (now 24 Hour Fitness) where he consistently was ranked in the top 10 Nation Wide on the Preferred Trainers list, which rates the top trainers company wide in the United States. He also consistently has the top clientele list at DesignFit inside the River Oaks Conditioning Center. He also trains clients at several private locations including outdoor workout facilities and in private homes. Jose has trained and consulted with several Hollywood and sports celebrities such as actors Lou Diamond Phillips and Terrance Howard, recording star Sheryl Crowe. He also has worked with sports stars such as Evander Holyfield (World Heavy Weight Boxing Champion), Chris Dishman (NFL All Pro), Mike Alstot (NFL All Pro and member of superbowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Eugene Seale (Houston Oilers), Tim Montgomery ( current world record holder in 100 meter dash), Eric Thomas (2000 Track & Field Olympian in 400 hurdles), Donnie Ashley ( Canadian Football League), Damian Morris (Arena Football League).
